DC Load Banks - A General
Overview |
All of our
DC Load Banks are fully Electronic Loads and are basically
split into two ranges. The
BD Series is a Battery Load
Bank for Battery Discharge Testing and has been designed as
a Portable
Load Bank.
The
EL12 Series is for Telco Rectifier Testing and General
Purpose Power Supply Testing. Both
of these Series are nominally rated at 12kW.
BD models
Some of the
BD models are tailored specifically for one Battery
Voltage, e.g. 48V systems. While other
BD models are
tailored to cater for two or more Battery Voltages, e.g. 48V
and 24V and 12V systems. These are used as a Load
tester.

EL12 Series
The
EL12
Series models are DC
Electronic Loads designed for Rectifier testing and may be
used for two or more Rectifier
output Voltages, e.g. 48V and 24V and 12V systems.

EL08 Series
And for high
Voltages we have the
EL08 Series. This Series is housed in
the same size case as the
EL12. This
Series is nominally rated at 8.2kW and
caters for Voltages from 200V up to 500V.

The
DLM-09 Series is for
Data Logging of Cell/Monoblock
Voltages, for Discharge / Charge testing. This is where you
have a string of Cell/Monoblock batteries in series as
typically used in Telco telephone exchanges. The
Data loggers are
designed to work with all of these Voltages 12V, 24V, 48V
and 110V Systems with options for higher voltages up to
550V.
The standard
unit has 9 channels, (for Cell/Monoblock inputs). This is
expandable up to 127 channels. A port is provided for Comm's
to a PC / Laptop, with an Option for Ethernet / LAN
connection. This enables control via the internet.
